In his concluding remarks, Secretary Wang Gaozu pointed out that the retired teachers have laid a solid foundation for the college's development with their youthful passion and extraordinary wisdom. Looking ahead, all teachers should take the retired teachers as a benchmark, firmly establish the lofty ambitions and pragmatic style of “committing to the teaching profession and contributing to national rejuvenation,” and, with the collective efforts of everyone in the college, strive to construct a first-level doctoral program in the discipline of Foreign Language and Literature. They should continuously innovate and contribute to the talents cultivation, teaching excellence, and scientific research, helping the university achieve its “127” goal and write a brilliant chapter in the new era and on the new journey.
